2023 Malibu Boats UK Wake Nationals

Wakeboard UK is excited to announce the date and venue of the 2023 Malibu Boats UK Wake Nationals. The competition is being held on the 21st to 23rd July 2023 at Xtreme Wake at Grendon Lakes, Northamptonshire. Title sponsor and boat provider is Malibu Boats UK who will be showcasing their Malibu 23LSV and Axis brand boats at the event. The UK Wake Nationals covers both wakesurfing and wakeboarding, so get your board... wakesurf or wakeboard ... and enter the Wake Nationals to compete against the UK's best!

- Step 2 - Follow the Entry Instructions and Pricing instructions below to purchase an entry ticket and optional practice ticket.
Entry Instructions and Pricing
Note this process has been simplified, we will now undertake the EMS component for riders. All new entries and payment uses Ticketsoure, see below.
1) Ensure you are a member of the BWSW
2) Choose and pay for the entry and practice tickets required from our online booking system:

Entry Pricing: £50 All Categories
IWWF Licence Pricing: £6.25 All Categories
Practice Pricing: £25 for 10 min slot
IMPORTANT: All entries must be submitted by 9:00am on Fri 14th July 2023. The ticket system will automatically close at this time.

Wakesurfing Event Format

Wakesurf Divisions
Owing to capped entries in the Wakesurf Divisions, on a first come first served basis, we will have
the following
divisions scheduled:
- Women Surf Style - all ages
- Women Skim Style - all ages
- Men Surf Style - all ages
- Men Skim Style - all ages
There are two disciplines in wakesurf competitions using two different board types. In general, the dimensions should be as follows:
i. Skim: board dimensions should be no greater than 2.54 cm (1") thick, either with a fin no more than 5.08 cm (2”) deep or without a fin.
ii. Surf: board dimensions should be greater than 2.54 cm (1") thick, with a minimum of two fins at least 7.62 cm (3”) deep. Additional fins can be shallower in depth.

- Your competition footage may be utilised on our website, and on social media.
- Not all footage will be released but be prepared to be on the website and on Insta if you do well!
BWSW Membership
- This competition is provided for UK Citizens including people from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This competition is organised with the backing of The British Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation Ltd and therefore competitors are required to be current members of BWSW or an IWWF affiliated federation which contains UK citizens.
