"A collective of Lake Windermere loving, wake, surf and foil addicts are hosting a wake surf comp on Saturday 23rd September 2023 at Graythwaite Adventure. There are so many incredible surfers and foilers on the lake, we thought it was about time a fun, friendly and laid back comp should be organised. We will start year 1 with a fun and friendly vibe and if its a success, let’s see what it could grow into. With your entry and support let’s create a ‘get together’ of like minded people who love to rip up Lake Windermere behind their boats. It’s an end of season party, a surf and foil comp, a place to get inspired, a place to learn and progress, a place to demo Liquid Force gear and ride an epic Malibu 23 LSV. Oh and did we mention an evening party in Boaters Bar :)
The venue is Graythwaite Adventure, south lake, which is located opposite Beech Hill. It has a perfect natural grandstand for viewing right on the edge of the lake, WC’s, changing rooms and shelter from the British weather. You can travel by car and there is free parking or by boat. If you travel by boat there is a jetty, but places are limited. Rafting up boats in the sheltered bay is easily possible, we will be on hand to help and have a ton of 5m long, inflatable sausage fenders to go between boats. We have Jumbo SUPS and a small rib to help bring people from boat to land. "
